1. What kind of people join your group and what are the top reasons they join?
 

Although many of our members are single, couples and families also participate in our activities.   In fact, several of our members who met at Mosaic now participate as couples. 

 

Member ages range from 20-70.  The largest number of participants is in the 30-50 year old group; however, we also have some events that include kids, teenagers and adults of all ages. 

 

Our primary focus, no matter what your age or marital status, is bringing Jewish people together to share their love of the outdoors.

 

Other reasons for joining Mosaic include the following:

 

  1. Making friends in and around Atlanta Jewish community 
  2. Meeting new and interesting people with whom you share the love of Judaism and nature
  3. Participate in events almost every weeknd
  4. Get exercise without going to the gym...hiking, kayaking, biking and so much more
  5. Experience all that Georgia and the surrounding states have to offer
  6. Obtaining a great sense of adventure  
  7. Development of outdoor knowledge and skills
  8. Being part of a network of over 20 chapters nationwide including Canada and Israel
  9. Support of environment education
  10. Low membership dues 
2. Okay. Sounds good to me. How much does it cost to join?
 

Dues are $25/year per person.  Membership entitles you to participate in any activity we hold throughout the year without having to pay a nonmember fee. You can also attend any event put on by Mosaic Outdoor Clubs of America without paying their nonmember fee. 


If you decide not to join Mosaic at this time,  you can participate in most events for a fee generally ranging between $5.00 - $10.00.  Non-member fees will be noted in event information. 

3. Is there an age minimum to join? How old must I be to participate in your activities?
  Yes.  You must be 21 years of age to join as a member.

If you're under 21, you must be accompanied by an adult to participate in our activities
